Our Electrophysiology Division

Physician

Jamal Ahmed earned his medical degree from Khyber Medical College in Pakistan. He completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at The University of Connecticut  in Farmington, Connecticut where he also served as Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Ahmed completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama and an Electrophysiology fellowship at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.  He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Electrophysiology.

Technical Staff

Tami Ferguson is the Electrophysiology/ Device clinic Coordinator for our Northeast office.  She is a certified EP Specialist and certified Cardiac Device Specialist, specializing in cardiac rhythm analysis and cardiac device management.  She received technical training at Stratford Technical Institute, SUNY Upstate and St. Joseph's Hospital Rhythm Analysis Core Program.  She has 15 years experience in cardiac rhythm analysis, employed by the Cardiovascular Group of Syracuse for 9 years and was previously employed at Crouse Irving Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Intensive Care Unit.
